In response to the Web 2.0 conference this week, Merlin Mann of 43folders is putting together the must-attend event of the year month week, the Web 1.0 Summit.

We will meet to discuss line breaks, spacer gifs, and the ability to launch links in a new browser window. There will be beer.

It’s tentatively scheduled for October 5 at House of Shields in San Francisco, a bar conveniently located right around the corner from my office.
