Sometimes a word or phrase, without any context at all, can be inspiring. I was looking over the SkinnyCorp web site yesterday and found their Daydream Projects page, which mentions something called “Lunchtime Photo Safari”. That’s it; no explanation, no details. I have no idea what it is, but it inspired me to take a break from work and go for a walk and take pictures of the area I work in.

I took 38 photos total, which can all be found in the photo gallery as well as on Flickr, tagged lunchtimephotosafari. These were all taken within a few blocks of my office, at 2nd and Mission in San Francisco. I took these with my old camera, a Nikon Coolpix 3500, not the new one.
